Kapuso stars run for Energizer Night
MANILA, Philippines- Kapuso stars join the third leg of the Energizer Night Race made in partnership with GMA Network today in Dagupan City.
Kylie Padilla, Rochelle Pangilinan, Bela Padilla, Will Devaughn, Ervic Vijandre and Arthur Solinap participate as they carry on the 3km, 5km, and 10km categories in the race after last year’s first leg in Cebu and last month’s second leg in Davao.
Eighteen winners will receive cash prizes, medals, and gift packs from Energizer representatives and their favorite Kapuso stars — three each from the categories’ male and female divisions. Special awards will also be given to the youngest and oldest runners, the Best in Costume and the Largest Contingent.
“We are happy that GMA is chosen once again as the strategic partner of Energizer Philippines for its night run for the Luzon leg in Dagupan City. This is the third night run which we have partnered following the successful night runs in Cebu last year and the recently concluded night run in Davao City last April 16,” says Oliver Victor Amoroso, AVP for Marketing and Sales, GMA Regional TV.
Proceeds of the race will be donated to GMA Kapuso Foundation, Inc.’s special hearing aids project in observance of the National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week in July. The project will specifically benefit the hearing-impaired children in Dagupan and other areas in North Central Luzon as well.
“Special performances, fun games and other surprises are also in store for the Energizer Night Race participants as Kapuso stars, led by hosts Mike “Pekto” Nacua and Rico Robles, hit the stage for a certified crowd drawer Kapuso Night. The band Brownman Revival also joins the celebration as they bring their own beat at the end of the show,” says Jocelyn Bautista, GMA ETV program manager for Regional.
