Toonilicious shows for kids

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated! explores a long history of ghost sightings, phantoms, and paranormal occurrences.

MANILA, Philippines - Cartoon Network is spicing up holiday viewing this summer, with a tasty serving of Toonilicious: A weekend block offering Pinoy kids hearty helpings of the hottest new shows of the season.

Running until May 30, every Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., Toonilicious will air the secret sauce of kids’ entertainment, including all-new shows Adventure Time with Finn & Jake, a sneak peek of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, and new episodes of everyone’s favorite apprentice chef, Chowder.

During Toonilicious, kids can look out for on screen surprise appearances by Cartoon Network’s Toonix, the loveable and customizable digital personalities that encourage kids to create a byte-sized ‘toon version of themselves.

Throughout April kids need to spot one of the unique Toonix characters appearing on their TV screens and register online or SMS Cartoon Network to win a prize. The winner will receive oodles of personalized items featuring their Toonix. Posters, cups, T-shirts, bed sheets, and notebooks are some of the prizes.

Here’s a taste of the sizzling summer programming kids can enjoy during Toonilicious:

Served fresh and hot off the grill, Cartoon Network will premiere the all-new wacky series, Adventure Time with Finn & Jake, where Finn, the human boy with the awesome hat, and Jake, the wise dog, embark on a series of bizarre and unique exploits as they explore the kooky Land of Ooo. Whether it’s rescuing a princess from an Ice King, or de-corpsenating candy people, one thing’s for sure: it’s always adventure time.

Catch all-new episodes of Chowder. There’s chaos in the kitchen as the little apprentice slices, dices, and starts ruckuses under magical chef Mung Daal. Mix in a drop of Shnitzel, the rock monster chef, a dash of Truffles, Mung Daal’s mushroom pixie and foul-tempered wife, and you get a big bowl of crazy, and just sometimes a side of gastronomic genius.

Cartoon Network pumps up the flavor in May with a sneak peek of the all-new series.

In Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated!, a sleepy little village, Crystal Cove boasts a long history of ghost sightings, phantoms, and other paranormal occurrences. The renowned sleuthing team of Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo prove all of this simply isn’t real, and along the way, uncover a larger, season-long mystery that will change everything.

The summer laughs will culminate in an awesome event on April 30 at SM Mall of Asia. Kids can join in the tasty fun and learn first hand just how the Toonilicious secret sauce makes ‘toons come to life. Featuring special stage shows, games and appearances by favorite Cartoon Network friends - all presented by Toonix — it is an event not to be missed.
