Drama Queen meets 'Bad Boy'

- Danny Dolor -

Charito Solis was LVN’s drama queen while Zaldy Zshornack was Premiere’s ‘bad boy’ in the late ’50s and early ’60s. Then they were exclusive contract stars of their respective studios.

Their cinematic paths met when their studios closed shop — in the tearjerker Mahal Kita Inay, written and directed by Artemio Marquez and produced by Larry Santiago in 1962.

The mother role was played by Rosa Aguirre.  — RKC
