Aside from being a singer, I’m also a composer, so I will get more fulfillment with praises especially from co-artists and music critics. But great album sales would be a major bonus of course… it means, you were able to please the masses as well!

College students. I have this fascination with youth and pop culture… so I would like my music to be embraced and enjoyed by the young people…

The B-52’s in San Diego, CA. They may have this goofy public image, but surprisingly, when you attend their concert, you will realize how deep their musicality actually is. I like being “musically surprised” when I attend concerts. Plus, the band members are probably in their ’60s, but the concert was packed with people of all ages, including a huge college crowd!
