Cool down with Bianca's new favorite drink

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Onscreen, Bianca Gonzales (photo) glows with a poise and charm that belie her young age. And with a new advocacy towards well-being through the Yin Yang Cooling Tea endorsement, she is one such TV personality who best represents what many people her age aspires for. “We chose Bianca to represent Yin Yang because she embodies the health philosophies that the brand promotes,” says Jane Bernardo, Marketing Director of Yin Yang Cooling Tea, the latest refreshment from Universal Robina Corporation (URC).

Bianca, a self-confessed “super girl wannabe” believes that a well-balanced life is all about living to the fullest and being dynamic. While her days mainly consist of fulfilling enjoyable work, she also travels when schedule permits. Her local and international adventures are being religiously chronicled in her popular Super Bianca blog (www.superbianca.blogspot.com), which has gained a wide readership among the youth. And by sharing her personal thoughts, personal social projects and work with UNICEF with such enthusiasm, she gets to inspire many of her young readers on-line.

The face of the latest ready-to-drink tea from URC also talks a lot about her simple and effective physical activities. For Bianca, physical fitness activities should be something that one enjoys doing. She prefers yoga, and running if she has the time. “I believe in exercise,” the morena TV show host declares. “But you don’t have to go to the gym to be fit. You can just move, like dance everyday and that could be your exercise.” For someone like Bianca who has a casual fitness routine, many people might speculate that she is following a strict diet. Her blog readers and over 100,000 followers on Twitter know, however, that Bianca is passionate when it comes to her “happy food”.

“I’m not really a foodie,” she admits. “But I just love eating delectable food—even if they’re oily or ma-kolesterol,” she says with a laugh. The energetic host, stressed that she is able to appreciate these delights because of her love for tea. “I always have hot tea after every meal,” she says. “I believe it helps my body burn all the fats that I consumed.”

Bianca’s practice of drinking tea naturally led her to love Yin Yang Cooling Tea. Freshly brewed from 100% green tea leaves of Camellia sinensis, Yin Yang also has 3 other traditional herbs, namely Mesona chinensis benth, Liquorice root, and Chrysanthemum flower, which the Chinese believe helps provide a therapeutic cooling effect on the body. This, together with the refreshing Black Gulaman flavor of Yin Yang Cooling Tea, makes it the perfect match to any hot, rich or spicy meal anytime, anywhere. “Yin Yang Cooling Tea complements my lifestyle,” Bianca adds. “It’s handy, it’s refreshing, and it comes in a flavor that I like. Plus it has the same effect as hot tea. It eases my body of the yucky feeling caused by eating a lot.”
