World sings with Doris and Gordon

- Danny Dolor -

In 1953, Doris Day and Gordon MacRae topbilled the romance-musical By the Light of the Silvery Moon. The theme song and title of the movie, with its infectious and happy tune lyrics, made the whole world sing with Doris and Gordon.

‘How they croon…how they spoon…’ read the blurb of the film from Warner Bros. ‘The most warm-hearted musical under the sun.’
