Glee Sing Off finale tonight

-

MANILA, Philippines - Three glee clubs move one step closer to the title of Great Glee Sing Off champions tonight at 8 at SM Centerstage at SM Mall of Asia. Singing their hearts out just like the Glee club of McKinley High on Jack TV and etc’s much-talked about hit show Glee, they dream of triumph and all their hard work paying off.

Launched last March, Great Glee Sing Off called on fans to experience the thrill of Nationals just like their favorite characters by harmonizing with friends to form an eight to 12-member show choir. After getting through the auditioning process, the remaining show choirs must impress a panel of judges that include executives from Solar Entertainment and Sony, The CompanY’s Moy Ortiz and a renowned mentor from Trumpets.

The boys and girls of Himig Sanghaya, Northwind Singers and Blazing Sensations will wow the crowd at the SM Centerstage with two performances each. First a ballad from Sony Music, and then with a performance of a song that has been featured in Glee. Last June 2, the three groups had the chance to work with Moy in a workshop at The Trumpets Studio at the Fort where he gave tips on how to enhance their performances for the big night.

The grand prize winner will receive a cash prize of P100,000, a group workshop package from Trumpets and gift packs from sponsors and Jack TV and etc. Runners-up will take home P10,000 and a group workshop package from Trumpets and gift packs from sponsors and Jack TV and etc.

Tomorrow, June 9, Jack TV and etc will air the first season’s anticipated finale via satellite at 4 p.m. with a primetime telecast at 8 p.m. on Jack TV and 10 p.m. on etc.
