While talks about Krista being the Pambansang K have subsided, there is yet another report that she was in the United States when Manny Pacquiao fought with Joshua Clottey.

Krista was indeed in the US not to watch Manny’s game but to attend to the boutique which she maintains with her cousin David. Krista, according to some is finally finding peace away from the blinding klieg lights. But tongues are mercilessly wagging that it was the People’s Champ who funded Krista’s new boutique.

People are asking where would she get her money for such a big venture and setting up a business in the US is extremely daunting. Krista vehemently denies Manny provided the financial capital. “I don’t have my own boutique. I use David’s boutique and it has been there since 2003.” How long will Krista stay in the US? I think she still has some TV commitments with ABS-CBN.

Yasmien reunites with dad

And for the good news, Yasmien Kurdi finally met her father whom she has not seen in a long time. Yasmien was born in the Philippines and migrated with her parents to Kuwait when she was a year old. Her father, a Lebanese, studied college in the Philippines. During her trip, Yasmien took time to have a reunion with her classmates at an Indian school in Kuwait. Her grandma prepared her favorite food while she was there.
