Jabbawockeez stays at Discovery Suites

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Discovery Suites was home to the Jabbawockeez during its month-long stay in Manila. The California-based hip-hop dance crew widely known for its mime and Kabuki-style moves and white masks was recently in the country to do a series of performances and appearances.

Since winning the 2007 America’s Best Dance Crew competition, the Jabbawockeez has gained international fame through various appearances on American TV, performing at the 2009 NBA All-Star Game, and touring with pop acts such as New Kids On The Block. Undoubtedly, the group is one of the most sought-after hip-hop dance crews today.

The group came out in a couple of shows throughout the Philippines, including a concert at the McKinley Hills Concert Grounds in Taguig City, a mall show at SM Cebu and as guests in various TV programs.

Amidst hectic and strenuous schedule, group members KB, B-Tek, Cristyle, Emajoenation/Punkee, Kid Rainen, Phi and SB/Swaggerboy found their sanctuary in the first-class accommodations of Discovery Suites.

The Filipino-owned premier serviced apartment remains the preferred address of local and international travelers for successfully combining the familiar comforts of home with the luxurious pampering of a five-star hotel.

Discovery Suites provided members of Jabbawockeez with the much needed warmth of family as well as satisfied their every need. Thus, though the Jabbawockeez were thousands of miles away from their families, home seemed just around the corner.
