Twenty-three years after his death, a man comes back to Earth and stumbles into the life of Corrine, his former wife, as well as that of her daughter Miranda and his former best friend Philip, who harbors a long-suffering adoration for Corinne in Chances Are.

The City of Angels  is about an angel comes to earth and falls in love with the woman he’s assigned to watch over.

In Ghost, Molly and Sam are walking home one evening when Sam is tragically gunned down by a street mugger. Molly goes into a deep depression, but, unknown to her, Sam has come back as a ghost to protect her from danger.
