Jacky returns to Hollywood

MANILA, Philippines - Jacky Chan is back in Hollywood after Forbidden Kingdom wherein he starred with Jet Li. This time he plays inactive spy Bob Ho who finds himself in a situation challenging his espionage skills and hopes of becoming step dad to his girlfriend Gillian’s (played by Amber Valleta) kids in The Spy Next Door.

As Gillian is set to leave town, Bob becomes the children’s babysitter. One of these mistakenly downloads a top-secret formula off his computer files, to be discovered unfortunately by a terrorist. Bob will have no choice but to protect the kids from the enemy.

Distributed by Viva International Pictures, supported by PSICOM and directed by Brian Levant, The Spy Next Door also stars George Lopez, Lucas Till and Billy Ray Cyrus. The comedy is Jacky’s first offering in 2010 and will open nationwide on Jan. 15.
