Star-studded debut

MANILA, Philippines - Two movie queens, Susan Roces and Gloria Romero, were among the star well-wishers of Aila Reyes, daughter of Aster Amoyo and Ernie Reyes, during her recent debut at C3 Events Place in Greenhills, San Juan City. The debutante came home purposely for the affair from Tokyo where she is scheduled to enroll at the Kwansei Gakuin University after taking up a two-year course in Japanese language at an exclusive school also in the same city. Aila’s birthday was on Oct. 30 but the celebration was advanced to Oct. 11 (moved from Oct. 3 due to the devastation wrought by Typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng). In photos are Sen.
