ABS-CBN bags Philippine Quill Awards

MANILA, Philippines - ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp. bagged three Philippine Quill Awards in recognition of its exemplary business communications programs and tools for its external and internal stakeholders.

ABS-CBN’s 2008 Annual Report, which describes the company’s vision and mission, and provides investors with timely and accurate reporting of its financial and operating performance, won an Award of Merit in the Publications category.

The company’s programs and activities targeted at the barangay called Ugnayan sa Barangay also earned an Award of Merit in the Government Relations category.

Winning its second Award of Merit in two consecutive years, the company’s intranet site e-Frequency bagged an Award of Merit in the Electronic and Digital Communication category. e-Frequency is an electronic site that employees access to get the latest news and information about the company.
