Erik sings Brickman

MANILA, Philippines - Erik Santos (photo) starts to conquer other Asian territories via his latest album Erik Santos: The Jim Brickman Songbook under Star Records.

Eight major Asian lands will be filled by the soothing voice of Erik as Star Records brings his album to Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan and Thailand.

“It has always been a dream for me. I have never imagined that my album will reach countries outside the Philippines,” Erik beamed. “With the help of my Star Records family, maaabot ko na rin ang isa sa mga pinangarap ko bilang isang singer.”

This November, various events will keep Erik busy and traveling. First stop is his album launch in Singapore on Nov. 14. Next is Malaysia come Nov. 23. On Nov. 24 to 27, the singer goes to Japan and back to Singapore on Nov. 29.

On Nov. 21, a concert with Sitti is set in Aliw Theater.

Erik’s latest album, an inch away from the gold record status, is one of a kind. Star Records also offers the Erik Santos: The Jim Brickman Songbook in SD Card format with six songs from the album.

“With the SD Card format, mas madali niyo na akong makakasama through my songs kasi pwede niyo ako ibulsa (laughs),” Erik jokingly said. “Maganda ito kasi pwede niyo nang mapapakinggan yung mga songs ko through your phones na hindi niyo na kailangan i-download pa.”
