A whole new season calls for an all-new set of sparkling gossip. Now that high school is over for most of our loved Upper East Siders, a totally different world of scandals, love and juicy secrets await them even before they enter college.

 Serena (Blake Lively) has some explosive secrets to lock and keep. After spending summer in Europe, shopping and being followed around by the paparazzi, she enters Brown University with a brand new self. Her transformation is quite puzzling but a visit from a bad boy named Carter Baizen (Sebastian Stan) may finally reveal some answers.

Back in Manhattan, Jenny (Taylor Momsen) finally gets the Queen Bee status. But her Brooklyn address won’t keep up with her social demands. Good thing her dad Rufus (Matthew Settle) got engaged to Lily (Kelly Rutherford) which means she gets to tag along the Upper East Side Penthouse address.

Nate (Chace Crawford), on the other hand, has got some new romance brewing with a southern belle named Bree Buckley (JoAnna Garcia). But unfortunately for Nate, this is just going to be another crazy Romeo and Juliet story.

New York University welcomes Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgely) with a bright future ahead. But when Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachetenberg) comes for a visit, his world is turned upside down. Tagging along NYU, Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) has been spending a lot of time with a mysterious stranger. Who could this person be?
