The Mystery of Irma Vep

MANILA, Philippines - The black box theater comedy The Mystery of Irma Vep written by Charles Ludlam and acted by Jon Santos and JV Katipunan opens the 2009 to 2010 season of the Marie Eugene Theater of the Assumption. The comedy demonstrates excellence in character transformation where two actors play six roles with finest production crew consisting of seven technical theater students trained for quick changes and set transformations. It will run on Nov. 6 and 14 and Jan. 21, 22 and 23, 2010.

The play is staged in tandem with a lecture demonstration by Ana Valdes-Lim on Rehearsal Techniques for directors and teachers.
