The music of the '80s

MANILA, Philippines - Magic 89.9 and MCA Music present Friday Madness, the album, featuring the best music from the ’80s on two CDs. The launch will be held tomorrow, Aug. 28, at Edsa Shangri-La’s E’s Bar. The ’80s saw the widespread use of synthesizers and keyboards. In the US, MTV was launched and music videos began to have a huge effect on the record industry. Pop artists Duran Duran, Tears For Fears, Wham! and Michael Jackson mastered the format and helped turned this new product into a profitable business.

This retrospective release takes you back to that time to bask in the glory of a bygone period when men could look like women and no one knew the damage we were causing to the ozone layer.
