Nick airing new episodes of iCarly

MANILA, Philippines - Nickelodeon’s iCarly will launch new episodes this month and premiered a TV-movie special titled iGo to Japan yesterday. It will replay tomorrow, Aug. 9 at 12 p.m.

In iGo to Japan, iCarly fans will follow Carly (Miranda Cosgrove), Sam (Jennette McCurdy) and Freddie (Nathan Kress) on a fun-filled, laugh-packed, mud-soaked adventure in Japan where they represent themselves as iWeb Award nominees for the Best Comedy Web Show in the world. However, being big in Japan is no easy trail, kicking off their adventure on a tin can of a possum-packed plane and parachuting onto Japanese soil.

The harassed group meets its main rivals, Kyoki and Yuki, two Japanese teens ready to play a dirty trick just to keep the iCarly team away from the awards. The duplicitous duo takes Carly’s group on a “scenic tour” and leaves them stranded and mud-splattered just hours before the ceremony. Will the iCarly trio get a crack at competing onstage? And will they take home the coveted trophy?

Nickelodeon airs new episodes of iCarly starting Aug. 12, Wednesdays to Fridays, 4:30 p.m. In the new season, when Carly and Sam show interest in the same boy, they vow to not let him come between them. This turns out to be more difficult than they imagined. Their friendship is tested as they compete for his attention.
