MANILA, Philippines – Based on Jodi Picoult’s bestselling book, My Sister’s Keeper reveals surprising truths that challenge one’s perceptions of family love and loyalty and gives new meaning to the definition of healing.
The story is about Sara (Cameron Diaz), and Brian Fitzgerald’s (Jason Patric) life with their young son and their two-year-old daughter, Kate (Sofia Vassilieva). Their lives are forever altered when they learn that Kate has leukemia. Their only hope is to conceive another child to save Kate’s life. Directed by Nick Cassavetes (The Notebook), My Sister’s Keeper also stars Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine), Alec Baldwin (The Cooler TV’s 30 Rock) and Joan Cusack (In & Out, and Working Girl).
