The Magic of Nostalgia at Casino Filipino

MANILA, Philippines - It’s a blast from the past as The Magic of Nostalgia will be held on May 5, 8 p.m. at Magiting Hall, Casino Filipino, Tagaytay.

The show is hosted by magician Alex D’ Great. It will be the first time the Prince and King of Rock ’n Roll will be together in one venue.

If you talk about Elvis Presley, there’s only one in the Philippines that will cross your mind with the so many Elvis impersonators, and that’s Edgar Opida, better known as Elvis Presley of Asia. Edgar has traveled all over Asia and the Far East including other parts of the US and the Middle East doing Elvis shows. He keeps the King of Rock n’ Roll alive through his exact impersonation of Elvis.

Of the very few who try to sing like Ricky Nelson, Titus Santiago comes closest to the singing voice of the Prince of Rock ’n Roll. During his college years, he was known as the Ricky Nelson of Ateneo. In the early ‘90s when Rock ’n Roll was revived, Titus has been acknowledged by peers and fans as the Ricky Nelson of the Philippines.

Titus sings ala Ricky Nelson with passion. He is a corporate executive running his own business with his sons.

Together with Joy Barret, the Connie Francis of the Philippines, the three performers will take you down memory lane. Entrance is free courtesy of PAGCOR.
