More twists as Lalola nears finale

Lalola, GMA 7’s top-rating romantic-comedy program adapted from an Argentine telenovela starring JC de Vera and Rhian Ramos, will make viewers laugh and cry as more heartbreaking and hilarious scenes unveil in its final week. The heartwarming story of Lalola began when a kiss from Sera (Iza Calzado), a sorceress, triggered a spell that trapped rich, handsome bachelor Lalo (Wendell Ramos) in a woman’s body. Sera cursed him after Lalo broke up with her sister Ada (Jewel Mische), who later killed herself. Since nobody would believe his transformation, Lalo has no choice but to pass himself off as someone else — Lola (Rhian Ramos).
