“This is your biggest Shake, Rattle & Roll (SRR) so far, not only because of the grand cast but also because of the sophisticated storytelling and effects — befitting of a 10th anniversary offering no less,” said Mother Lily Monteverde, the Regal matriarch who is obviously excited and hopeful for SRRX this year.

If there were years when SRRX shared the limelight with other horror entries from other production outfits, this year’s Shake, Rattle & Roll X is the only horror flick in the MMFF and the most successful film franchise that has a good box-office and critical-award winning record.

“I am proud to say that the SRR series is already with a worthwhile Christmas filmfest tradition among Filipinos,” said producer Roselle Monteverde, “this year, Regal can lay claim that SRR is about the most successful franchise as it is the last movie standing among the film sequels for the past years.”

Mike Tuviera (Nieves and Emergency) and Topel Lee (Class Picture) are responsible for this year’s exciting episodes with a formidable cast composed of the best of the Kapuso and Kapamilya networks which includes Marian Rivera, Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, JC de Vera, Roxanne Guinoo, Mylene Dizon, Wendell Ramos, Jean Garcia, Iwa Moto, Jennica Garcia, John Lapus, Erich Gonzales, BJ Forbes, IC Mendoza and Janus del Prado.
