SRRX as shocking as ever

The Philippine Star

In its rich 10-year tradition, Shake, Rattle & Roll X (SRRX) is at it again — giving the audiences rare and outstanding combinations and edgy stories that would give the viewers a good entertaining scare.

Proof is its first episode titled Emergency topbilled by JC de Vera and Roxanne Guinoo, written by Ellen Estrada and directed by Mike Tuviera. Jay (JC) is a paramedic and his beloved Dr. Sarah (Roxanne) in an obscure hospital. They will struggle together with other hospital residents to save their lives from the wrath of blood hungry creatures played by Mylene Dizon and Wendell Ramos.

“Ang maganda rito sa SRR X, I get the chance to work with other actresses na hindi ko makasama sa telebisyon like Roxanne,” said JC. “I’m happy to be paired with JC lalo na’t wala na akong permanent na ka-love team.” reveals Roxanne.

The JC-Roxanne chemistry obviously glows on the big screen. Their peers regard them as lucky to be starring in their own episode in the most successful franchise film in the annual Metro Manila Film Festival. Shake, Rattle & Roll X will surely bring you to the extreme — with the freshest batch of horrifying stories, the ingenious and creative use of visual effects and an the assembly of today’s biggest and brightest stars (aside from JC and Roxanne) Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson and Marian Rivera.

Shake, Rattle and Roll X opens Dec. 25.
