Mesmerized in Miami
April 29, 2007 | 12:00am
I heard from my friends in Manila that the weather there was really hot.
I am not missing the hot summer in the Philippines because the climate here is almost the same.
I met up with a couple of good friends from Manila, Luz Bolos of Summit Media and her daughter Anjelica Bolos in Orlando, Florida.
They had planned to go to Miami that afternoon and asked me if I wanted to join them.
Without second thoughts, I cancelled my flight back to LA, which was in about two hours, and re-routed my flights, not knowing exactly where I would be staying in Miami.
It was quite a long drive, but it sure was lots of fun. I’ve decided to make this trip an unforgettable one.
We made it into town a little pass midnight.
Our first stop was the Nude Beach, one of the very few legal places to literally walk around naked! Isn’t that awesome?
I would say that the first "exposure" I witnessed was the most interesting one. A man was sitting on the stairway, wearing shorts, with his private part just hanging out!
Honestly, it was very uncomfortable. I didn’t expect to see such a thing before we even got to the beach itself.
I could almost imagine myself going back in time when human beings haven’t created clothing yet, and only had leaves to wear.
About 90 percent of the people there were really naked. I walked around and as funny as this may sound to you, I eventually got over the fact that I had naked strangers around me.
I took notice of the sign that said, "ATTENTION, beyond this point you may encounter nude bathers," and decided to take pictures next to it.
After a few shots, a couple of "nude bathers" came up to us and asked us where we were from. We felt a bit tense because, after all, it doesn’t only take a few minutes to get used to talking to a naked stranger.
And we’re not just talking about "nude bathers" here, they were actually pretty hot.
They were well-built and handsome as well. We exchanged a few words then eventually got comfortable chatting with them.
I was expecting them to tell us we couldn’t take pictures, but instead, they took a look at me and suggested angles and poses that would look good on the picture! Amazing, isn’t it?
So, I’ve got two hot naked men, or should I say "nude bathers" at the beach suggesting sexy poses for me.
Very uncomfortable, but fun. I know some of you might be wondering if I took photos of "the beach" itself, but I guess it’s unethical to do such a thing.
I’ve kept such wonderful memories in my memory bank where I won’t need to open my laptop to remember them.
They had no signs that said, "no pictures allowed." It’s nice to know that there are still people in this world who know well enough to mind their own business.
Everyone there was very friendly, and I don’t mean it in a malicious way at all.
They were just genuinely nice. They even told us what other places we can go to while we’re in town.
We’ve still got a few stops to make here in Miami, and since I’m already here in the East side of the country, I’ve decided to visit New York for a few days before flying back to California.
I will keep you posted on these trips. I just want you to know that I truly appreciate all the e-mails you send me and for trusting me even with personal matters.
Live life, while it’s there! Have a wonderful Sunday!
