So young, so in love

While we were doing Star Circle Quest, I would always look forward to spending some time with Jodi Santamaria. We would talk about nothing and everything. It was always fun. I Like Jodi. Beneath the svelte figure and innocent veneer, I discovered a funny, feisty young woman. When I heard the news about her wedding to Pampi Lacson, I sent her a text message wishing her and Pampi the happiness that this lifetime can offer. Jodi is also a good daughter while Pampi is a fine young man. Together, they will have a beautiful life.

After four years of going steady, Pampi and Jodi quietly prepared for this wedding in Las Vegas. Who said it’s not possible to keep secrets in showbiz? Some friends were surprised but everyone agrees that the two are so much in love with each other that it’s about time they settle down. Sen. Lacson said that his son loves Jodi very much and vice versa. He expects Jodi to live with them when she returns to Manila. He also denied speculations that his daughter-in-law is pregnant saying that she will be back to honor her contract with ABS-CBN.

The wedding was held on March 27 at the Mandalay Bay Chapel by the Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada while reception was at the Tradewinds Ballroom, Mandalay Bay Convention Center. It was an intimate wedding ceremony according to Senator Ping.

Heart’s beauty secret

Many people are asking me if Heart Evangelista is as beautiful in person as she is on television.

If you ask me, yes, she is as beautiful – if not more beautiful in person.

Heart has one of the most refreshing faces among the young stars we have right now and the first thing you’ll notice about her is her smooth, flawless skin.

Every time I see her along the corridors of ABS-CBN, I can’t help but sigh and remember my younger, carefree days. (But that’s another story!)

A typical teenager, Heart leads an active, vibrant life and enjoys gimmicks and going to the mall with friends. She loves experimenting with her looks and keeps up with the latest fads.

But Heart would be the first to say that she doesn’t really spend that much time primping in front of the mirror, fiddling with makeup and all that stuff.

"I just pretty much stick to the basics of a naturally healthy lifestyle. I try to drink as much water as I can, eat healthy and try to look neat and fresh all the time," Heart shares.

But when it comes to taking care of her body, Heart can be quite picky. She is also very conscious about skin care and uses specific products which enhance her beauty. When it comes to soaps, she only trusts one – Palmolive Naturals Milk & Rose Petals – which she is currently endorsing right now.
