Magkaibang pirma ni VP Sara kinumpirma ni Ortonio
MANILA, Philippines — Kinumpirma ni Office of the Vice President Assistant Chief of Staff Lemuel Ortonio na magkaiba ang lagda ni Vice President Sara Duterte sa dalawang dokumento na may kinalaman sa confidential funds ng kanilang tanggapan.
Ipinunto ni Presiding Officer Francis “Chiz” Escudero sa ika-18 araw ng impeachment trial, ang lagda ni Duterte sa isang dokumento noong Setyembre 16, 2022 ay iba sa pirma nito sa request letter para sa confidential funds noong Agosto 22, 2022.
“The court noticed that the signature of the vice president in this [September 16, 2022] document appears to be different [from] the signature in the August 22 document. So the vice president has at least two signatures, so far. Can you confirm that both are her signatures?” tanong ni Escudero.
Ayon kay Ortonio na ang dalawang lagda ay parehong kay Duterte.
“Yes, I can confirm, Your Honor, that both are the signatures of the vice president,” ani Ortonio.
Tinanong din ni Escudero si Ortonio kung maaring magkaiba ang nasabing mga lagda ng Bise President na kinumpirma naman ng huli.
“Yes, that’s correct, Your Honor,” sagot ni Ortonio.
Ang mga dokumento ay iprinisenta ng prosekusyon kaugnay ng alegasyon tungkol sa paggamit ng confidential funds ng OVP.
