No mortarboard? No problem

HATS OFF TO THIS MOM.  A little ingenuity can go a long way. After misplacing her rented mortarboard hat a day before graduation a graduating student began to panic, but her mother was having none of it. Grabbing an illustration board, some black cloth and cardboard, she began to make her daughter a hat of her own.

Luckily, the creation held up. In fact, no one noticed the graduate was wearing a makeshift headgear.
