Multi-Grammy winner Sam Smith to perform in Manila

MANILA, Philippines — Tickets for Sam Smith’s Manila concert are now on sale in any SM Ticket outlet, concert producer MMI Live posted on its Twitter account.

The British singer-songwriter is set to perform on October 5 at Mall of Asia Arena for the Manila stop of “The Thrill of It All” World Tour.

General admission tickets cost P2,120 each, while VIP passes are priced at P17,600.

Though postponed for a few months due to issues in his vocal chords, his first concert in Manila last 2015 was a blast, leaving fans mesmerized with the Grammy award winner’s performance.

This year, the Philippines is the second stop of his Asia Tour next to Singapore followed by South Korea, Japan and Thailand.

Smith rose to fame after he was featured on the Disclosure song “Latch” on October 2012. On February 2013, he released his first single from his debut album, “Lay Me Down.”

Smith won the Grammy Awards' Best New Artist on 2015. His song “Stay With Me” also won the Grammy for Song of The Year.
