Thoughts to guide us by (For August 2016)

The real issue in life is the struggle between TRUTH and LIES, a competition between GOOD and BAD, a tug-of-war between MORAL and IMMORAL! And the ancestor of all these is: GREED!

Greed creates discontent and unceasing desire to gain power and wealth – whatever, however it takes! Unrestrained greed of titanic proportion causes massive disaster and sufferings … depriving millions of people of life’s basic necessities even for bare survival!!

Greed creates illusion that having more and more power, money and material things bring forth happiness. Yet, we see, hear and read about super rich and powerful people living in emptiness, loneliness in the midst of plenty, wallowing in self-pity amidst grandeur???

Most people forget in the hustle-bustle of life that loving God and genuinely caring and serving mankind … are life’s greatest treasure … from which can spring real satisfaction, pure joy, and stable peace of mind … money cannot provide!!

This world can be a better, safe, peaceful place … if only we have hearts genuinely caring and sharing with others in need!
