Kris cuts hair short to symbolize her 'life change'

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines- Kris Aquino cuts her hair short.

The Queen of All Media says that “it's the shortest hair that I've had since childbirth.”

Many were surprised to see her donning a pixie hairstyle in Monday night's episode of “Aquino & Abunda Tonight,” even her co-host Boy Abunda.

But Boy complimented her hairstyle saying that “it's nice, it's appropriate kasi summer.” In which Kris replied, “Kapag may pinagdadaanan ka it's appropriate.”

Abunda got curious so he asked Kris if she's going through something. Kris said that she was over that trial and that “[it's] time for change,” and adds that “Ayoko na ng heartache, 'yon lang.”

Many of her fans speculated that the “heartache” that Kris is referring to is the one with Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista.

In Ricky Lo's column Funfare, he said that it was Herbert who gave up on dating Kris, which might be due to the bad write ups about their relationship.

When Boy tried to get a little more details about what she went through Kris simply replied, “I was not prepared to talk about that, I was only prepared to talk about my hair,” followed by a hearty laugh.

Kris hinted about her new hairstyle Sunday, April 20, when she posted a quotation in her Instagram account.

In the photo's caption she said, “Good Morning. Early Hair Cut, perfect time for a new look. Thanks to Roger, Malou & Oreo for working extra early! New endorsement Print Shoot today w/ my love @markednicdao. Easter Monday Blessing! God bless you all.”

Then yesterday, she posted another quotation from Coco Chanel.

She captioned the photo with “I cut off more than a foot, so I'm super ready for my life change!”
