Canduman rules Consolacion Fiesta Cup Football

CEBU, Philippines - The Canduman booters grabbed three titles to come out the winningest squad in the first wave of the 2nd Engineer’s Fiesta Cup football tournament in Consolacion.

Canduman topped the players 6, 8 and boys 12-under categories.

In the players 6, Canduman outsmarted San Roque Football Club-A, 2-1, via penalty shootout.

Canduman then pulled off a 1-0 victory over Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu to lord it over in players 8, while in the boys 12 finals, Canduman posted a 2-0 win over Sacred Heart School-Hijas de Jesus.

SHS-Ateneo de Cebu missed the players 8 crown but still had its hands full by clinching the girls 17 and boys 14 crowns.

SHS-AdC upended early favorite Queen City United, 2-1, while its boys 14 team came up with a 2-0 whitewash of Danao.

The Mandaue Technological Institute (MTI) also did not go home empty-handed as it took home the champion's trophy in the boys 10 class with a 2-0 drubbing of Danao.

Stream Football Club-A joined the winners' list after edging out Qualfon Philippines, 2-1.
