Jaguars sail off for Baybay fiesta hoopla

- GGM -

CEBU, Philippines - The USJ-R Jaguars-manned Ave Maria Sanctuary Park of team owner Raffy Senining will leave for Baybay, Leyte tonight to see action in the three-day fiesta basketball tournament set from June 12-14.

A total of P80,00 in cash prize is at stake for the top performing teams.

The Jaguars are sending only their former players who are not yet working or those who are making themselves available for three days. They will be beefed up by a slew of commercial veterans in the likes of Jercules Tangkay and Danny Aying among other.

The rest of the lineup include Jonel Baribe, John Malinao, Jabe Delfino, Marvin Tundag, Luther Luke Justiniani, Marvin Duran, Ronan Isidro, Rowel Tagalog, Celso Colegado Jr. and Roland Doy, the former back-up guard for the Asian College of Technology (ACT) Cyber Knights.

Aying, Tangkay, Tundag and Colegado were members of the Ave Maria Xmen 2 that won the Talamban Open crown last week. – THE FREEMAN
