Enriquez bags two titles in 2nd leg of OZ Racing Grand Prix Series '09

CEBU, Philippines – Robbie Neil Enriquez shone the brightest rider with two championship trophies during the second leg of the OZ Racing Grand Prix Series 2009 last Sunday at the Parkmall in north reclamation area.

Enriquez dominated the expert open and the novice open categories.

Enriquez bested Gary Cañeda, Jr. for the expert open crown, while the next three spots were occupied by Lyndon Requilme, opening leg winner Eduardo Borden, and Andie Ursal.

Requilme finished second to Enriquez in the novice open, while Borden came in third. Jerome Borden placed fourth followed by Niño Surban of Danao City.

Enriquez was joined on the podium by Keken Cabahug, Mario Borbon, and Insik Flores.

Cabahug lorded it over in the beginners 110 super stock, Borbon wound up second followed by Nelon Mayol, Jonel Intas, and Ranulfo Colina.

Borbon, however, bounced back by clinching the title in the beginners 125 super stock. Jess Louie Vega claimed the first runner-up honors, while Cabahug, Mayol, and A. Morato completed the top five finishers.

Flores, on the other hand, topped the mix automatic open. Mark Capoy landed at second place, while Kenneth Ouano, Requilme, and E. Denape rounded up the top five performers.
