Abellar captures two titles in Trinidad, Bohol motocross

CEBU, Philippines – Jubenile Abellar came up with a double victory in the 2009 Congressman Cajes Invitational Motocross in Trinidad, Bohol.

Abellar of Power Sports Racing/Moto-Fix/PTT Lubricants got the top spot in the expert open against Dumaguete’s best Irwin Uypitching. Winsor Pamorca settled for third.

Abellar reaffirmed his dominance over Uypitching to rule the intermediate class, with Paolo Inoc placing third this time.

In the novice production, Jasper Davis emerged as the fastest followed by Michael Desbaro and Adam Uypitching.

Desbaro quickly bounced back though by edging out Reynaldo Ytac to rule the novice production class. Dario Labor wound up third.

Like Desbaro, Ytac did not go home without a champion’s trophy as he topped the all-Bohol showdown. Labor finished second, while Mark Lajot landed at third.

Ian Adlawan Reyes stole part of the show by lording it over in the freestyle competition after he outclassed Jubenile’s brother Jovanni Abellar. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
