Cebuana bowler Misha Co bags top award from Ateneo

CEBU, Philippines - Another Cebuana bowler in Misha Co is making waves in Manila.

Co, one of the fast-rising female bowlers of the Bowlingplex Tenpin Association, was named as “Rookie of the Year” by the Ateneo de Manila University recently.

Co’s impressive performance during the 2nd Asian Universities Bowling Championship earlier this year paved the way for her to bag the coveted ROY award.

Co copped bronze medal in the masters event of the international competition, which saw fellow Cebuana Kim Lao dominating the medal board.

The 17-year-old Co, who is taking up Legal Management in Ateneo, also helped her team placed third in the overall rankings of the AUBC. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol   (THE FREEMAN)
