CebuSports.com football festival kicks off today at USC-TC

CEBU, Philippines - Over 100 teams will see action in the 1st CebuSports.com 7-Aside Football Festival this weekend at the University of San Carlos-Technological Center (USC-TC) field in Brgy. Talamban, this city.

The categories to be contested include Players (P) 6, P8, P10, Boys 12 and 15, Under-23 and 17, Girls 12 and 17, ladies and men’s open, 38-above and 40-above.

The event is in connection with the Cebu Sports’ thrust to help sports and promote football Cebu. The Cebu Football Association (CFA)-sanctioned tilt is supported by Water Fresh, Thirsty and Nike.

The two-day contest will also be featured in the grand launching of CebuSports.com this May.

Former RP Team member and tournament director Frederick “Ktec” Alazas is hoping that more teams will join the competition.
