-

CEBU - Southwestern University (SWU) logged its first victory at the expense of Monterey School, 49-31, in the midget division of the 1st Metro Cebu Inter-School Basketball Challenge yesterday at the Don Bosco Technology Center in Brgy. Punta Princesa, this city.

SWU, however, was not all happy at is mini squad was pummeled by host Don Bosco, 59-4. SWU scored only a paltry four points because they lack players during the match.

The entries in the mini division are USC-NC, USJ-R, SHS-J, SWU, DBTC and Cebu Eastern College (CEC).
