Cebu City summer sportsfest blasts off

A parade from the provincial capitol to the sports center signaled the start of the annual event.
Among the sporting disciplines to be contested are men’s basketball , volleyball, chess and table tennis. Each event will have juniors (18-below) and seniors 19-25) categories.
A total cash prize of P300,000 is at stake for the top performing teams and individual achievers in the the month-long competition.
