Calambua to host 3rd leg of MS Motosuit motocross

The 2008 MS Motosuit Motocross Series returns to Cebu with the staging of the third leg on April 13 in Calambua, San Remigio. It also serves as the 10th edition of the annual Ornopia Cup, the precursor of the MS Motosuit Motocross Series that was conceptualized three years ago.

From a small-time race to highlight Calambua’s  annual fiesta celebration, the Ornopia Cup grew bigger and better each year.

Although Calambua - the hometown MS Motosuit big boss Lou Ornopia - is a remote area, thousands of motocross enthusiasts still flock to the area and be part of the slambang event that offers unmatched thrills and excitement.

As his own way of saying thanks to motocross fanatics in his hometown, Ornopia disclosed he will be raffling off a brand new motorcycle to mark the decade-long existence of the Ornopia Cup.

Aside from that, Ornopia will also be bringing in his product’s top endorser, Glenn “The King” Aguilar, as an added treat to the loyal followers of the extreme sport in Calambua.

If plans don’t miscarry, this will be Aguilar’s first race for the 2008 MS Motosuit Series after missing the first two legs due to other commitments.

Also, Ornopia will be handing out a “Loyalty Award” to a rider, whose name he will only reveal during the race day, for his unflinching support to all his motocross events. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
