Back-To-Back Pbc Titles: Lao, Sy win 2007 Bowler of Year plums

For the second straight year, Cebuana bowlers Kim Lao and Alexi Sy won the coveted Philippine Bowling Congress (PBC) Bowler of the Year title.

Lao and Sy ruled their respective divisions during the 15th PBC National Youth Championship held late last year at the Green Valley Bowling Center in Pasig City.

Their performance earned Lao the 2007 Majors Division plum while Sy topped the 2007 Juniors Division. The Cebuana keglers won the same titles in 2006 together with another Cebuano bowler Jomar Jumapao.

The duo was unstoppable while in Manila, winning in two other events. Lao and Sy, with Micah Co, Misha Co (who finished fourth in the Majors Division) and Xyrra Cabusas, bagged the gold in the team event.

Later, Lao and Sy finished third in the doubles event where they played against the top bowlers in the country including members of the national pool.
