2007 Ms Motosuit Motocross Series: Carcar to host 10th leg today

-

The long wait is finally over for the people of Carcar City with the 2007 MS Motosuit Motocross Series staging its 10th leg at the Villa Anonang racetrack today.

And it’s worth the wait as the Carcaranons get to see the country’s top motocross rider Glenn Aguilar showcase his gravity-defying moves and electrifying aerial stunts in the pro division of the event dubbed as the 1st Carcar City Motocross Challenge.

Aguilar, an image model of MS Motosuit, is expected to be challenged anew by his former teammate Pepo Rubi and a bunch of young guns that include Jon-Jon Adlawan,Jubenile and Jubannie Abellar among others.

Except for Aguilar, Rubi and the rest will also be battling out each other for supremacy in the experts class.

Around 60 riders from all over Cebu and other areas of the Visayas and Mindanao are expected to show up, not only to vie for top honors and earn points needed for their overall rankings, but to greet the man behind the event, 2007 SAC-SMC All-Cebu Sports Awards “Sportsman of the Year” Lou Ornopia, who turned a year older yesterday.

The Carcar leg could be the penultimate round since the 2007 edition is almost over.

With that, hardcore action from the initial heat down to the last race of the day is anticipated today in the beginners, novice, intermediate, and executive categories.

Presented by MS Motosuit, the 10th leg is sponsored by MS Digital Prints, MS Car Suits, Cebu Progress Marketing, American Feeds, Disston Premium Paints, Keiz BZ Motorsales,888 Header Core Muffler Tech, Norking Trading Corporation, Coca Cola Bottlers, Pro Grip, Wheeltek Motor Sales, Nadela Bykes Center, Carcar Mayor Mario Patrick Barcenas, Manuel Wagas and the city government of Carcar. — Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
