The lawyers bagged the title in the 3rd Medico-Legal Golf Tournament, which took place at the Alta Vista Golf and Country Club over the weekend.
The top 15 players of the lawyers finished at 1-under-par while the doctors finished at 12-over-par.
The best lawyer golfer award went to Marlo Cugtas who scored a gross one-over-par 73.
The best doctor golfer plum went to heart surgeon Arnold Tan with a gross score of 80 strokes.
In the guest division, Alex Chiongbian fired a gross 93 strokes and less his handicap of 33 finished with a net score of 60 for a one-stroke win.
First runner-up was Enrico Solon who had a gross 66 and a net score of 61. Second runner-up was Edward Chu with a net score of 64 strokes.
The tournament was jointly organized by the lawyers and doctors for the benefit of the pediatric surgical ward of the Don Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.
