Cebuanos bag 2 bridesmaid honors in Agusan darts

Cebu's top darters opened their bid with two second place finishes at the start of the Agusan del Norte Battle of Dart Champions in Cabadbaran, Agusan del Norte yesterday.
The Cebuanos grabbed two second honors in the 3-man and 4-man team competitions.
In the 3-man squad, carrying Team Cebu City were Jerous Ponce and Roy Laude and William Encorporado.
They bowed to a team from Manila, 5-2, to pocket P15,000. The champion received P20,000.
Ponce, Encorporado along with Edward Kapaw-an and Rommel Bagotayao under Team Tetron Craft Visayas squad settled for P16,000 after missing the top post in the 4-man team, losing to bets from Cagayan de Oro, 5-3.
The Cebuanos hope to bounce back in other events in the competition, which offer P500,000 cash prize.
