All set for Alta Vista Nov. monthly medal

Over a hundred are seeing action in this weekend's November Monthly Medal Tournament of the Alta Vista Golf and Country Club.
This event is open to both club members and guests. Entry fee for members is pegged at P500 while guests will be assessed P1,500.
This will be an 18-hole strokeplay event, but there is also a team competition, which is open exclusively to members of the club.
There will be prizes for the player with the lowest gross and the two best in terms of net scores for classes A to D. There will also be prizes for the top finishers of the Seniors, Ladies, and Jungolf categories.
For the guest division, prizes at stake will only be for the champion of the men and women's classes.
The major sponsors of the tournament are Bambi Oil and Big Brothers - Albino Gothong, Ang Chiong, Ramon Sebastian, Oly Dychangco, and Atty. Mat Jo.
Also supporting the tournament are Arturo Go, Vicente Go, Romeo Hipolito, Ricky Aznar, Ed Sanchez, and Willy Lim.
The team event can be a combination of players from diferent handicap classes, but they will be allowed to use only 3/4 of their handicap.
The award ceremony will be held tomorrow evening at the AVGCC ballroom. - NLQ
