Verzosa stars as Cebuanos steal show in Maasin bikefest

Cebauno pedal-pushers opened their bid in Leyte on a positive note, snatching away several honors in the invitational road race in Maasin City the other day.
Come-backing cyclist Clifford Verzosa is slowly getting back to his old form by dominating class B over Henri Tampus.
TF columnist Dr. Jose Vicente "JV" Araneta also added glitter to the Cebu squad with a third place honors while Jonas Gorgonio and Lyndyl Caraquel were the fourth and fifth placers.
In class C, it was Edgar Fuentes who won the title over Nestor Sy, Jr. as Jojo Malmes was third.
Richard Patalinghug came out fourth while Gorgonio was fifth.
After the Maasin event, the Cebuanos backed up by Pany's Bakeshop, Lemar Marketing, Edna's Bakeshop, Torq, Al Figer, Maasin Pure, STI, Metro Bank, Footprints Sandals and &Dot Sports will proceed to another area in Leyte for another road race.
