MANILA, Philippines — A woman who allegedly violated the anti-bouncing check law was apprehended at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Saturday.

Authorities intercepted the suspect on her way to Guangzhou, China.

Facing an outstanding arrest warrant, the suspect has been placed in the custody of the Manila Police District’s Barbosa station.

Her bail was set at P12,000.

“This successful operation reflects our dedication to ensure that no one can escape the law. Through the Care Meets Action Program, we will continue enhancing our security measures to maintain public trust and order,” police Aviation Security Group director Brig. Gen. Christopher Abecia said.
