CEBU, Philippines - The Parian Police Station will soon be housed in a new building constructed by the Aboitiz Group of Companies thru the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI).
The newly constructed police station is scheduled for formal turnover on November 12.
Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama announced it yesterday during his daily press conference with high hopes that the business sectors will continue to help his administration by giving the other police stations a building of their own.
The newly completed Parian Police Station edifice is the fifth to be built by CCCI member companies thru Public-Private-Partnership (PPP).
The other police stations that benefited the program are the Mabolo Police Station and Fire Station; Waterfront Police Station; San Nicolas Police Station; and Fuente Police Station.
Among the benefactors are the Vicsal Foundation, owner of Metro Gaisano, Gaisano Capital Group, Chong Hua Hospital and Aboitiz Group of Companies.
The business sectors accepted Rama’s challenge for them to help the police to acquire new buildings to promote peace and order under the CCCI’s Adopt-A-Police-Station Project.
