A 17-year-old girl has charged her former Italian employer with acts of lasciviousness before the Cebu City Prosecutor's Office.
The girl has alleged that her former employer, Renato Benedetti, who runs Café Le Grand Soliel along Ramos Street had offered in May last year to employ her for P100 a day which she readily accepted.
She claimed that the following day, they went shopping and that Benedetti bought her two t-shirts and some personal effects.
Benedetti then asked her to stay with him at his house. She assumed that the man's intentions were good, and therefore accepted the offer.
At his house, he asked her to sleep with him. While in bed with him, she claimed Benedetti began hugging and kissing her, while touching her private parts.
She again claimed that Benedetti made advances at her inside his car while it was parked at an uptown department store's parking area.
After a month, she decided to quit her job and sought the help of the Legal Alternatives for Women. - Fred P. Languido
