TF reporter files rap against Byron

The FREEMAN's Capitol beat reporter Ferliza Contratista yesterday lodged a formal complaint before the committee on discipline and investigation of the provincial government against Byron Garcia, the Capitol's consultant for security matters, over an incident last week.

The incident took place last Friday afternoon at the lobby of Governor Gwendolyn Garcia's office where Byron, the brother of the governor, confronted Contrastista over a July 1 article.

Contratista said she wants the incident looked into by the committee, which is headed by lawyer Manolette Dinsay.

Capitol legal consultant Pablo John Garcia, Byron's brother, also promised to look into the incident.
