PLDT WiFi Zone Revolutionizes Cebu

CEBU, Philippines - PLDT WiFi Zone threw two phenomenal nights of back-to-back adrenaline-pumping parties to launch its newest service in Cebu. PLDT WiFi Zone co-presented One Venue, One Tribe, One Celebration with Luxx | Vudu that featured non-stop beats from some of the country’s top DJs. 

The weekend bash started off on Friday the 13th with an explosive party of epic proportions at VUDU. Cebu’s who’s-who, PLDT executives and glamorous celebrities from Manila flocked to Vudu as DJ Arnel Genteron of Privé Luxury Club and DJ Chewy of Republiq dished out house music to a massive crowd together with Resident DJs Marlon Orellano, Maxie Perez and DJ Kutlyfe. On Saturday January 14, DJ Aryan + DJ Nix Damn P served up a 4 Hit Combo with some mind-blowing tracks that got everyone in a Sinulog party-mood. The night was hosted by BanjBillions and also featured special guest, the beautiful host, VJ and model Sarah Meier.

 PLDT proved that Cebu is truly the party and festival destination in the Philippines. What better way to unveil the PLDT WiFi Zone, than during Cebu’s shining moment - the Grand Sinulog Festival! 

Also as part of the 2012 Sinulog Celebrations, PLDT launched its WiFi Zones all across the parade route which is now available to Cebuanos all year round. PLDT WiFi Zones may be accessed in Gen. Maxilom Avenue, Gorordo to Fuente Osmeña Circle, Osmeña Boulevard, Portions of N. Bacalso Avenue and P. del Rosario, the Cebu City Sports Center, Cebu City Hall, Provincial Capitol, Magellan’s Cross and Plaza Independencia and many other establishments. Soon to be converted into WiFi Zones are J Center, Banilad Town Center, Paseo Arcenas, Mango Square, Crossroads, ParkMall, Coffee Dream & Tabléa Chocolate Café.
